- February 15th -- "The Great Teacher"
- Scripture: Psalm 25:4 & 11
Make me know Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. For Your name's sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
Observation:
David's asking God not only to tell him about His ways or just to inform him but tohim know Gods ways and to make him learn the paths of God. David says for the Lord and His name's sake to please forgive his sins for they are many.
Application:
Like David I desire to know the ways and paths of the Lord. But, I just don't want to hear about them I want God to make me know and understand them and stamp them in my heart so that I do not forget them or be easily swayed from them. In the process of God making me to know His ways I need God to wash away and forgive my past sins for they are abundant.
Prayer:
Lord, let me have a heart that hears Your teaching and a passion for understanding them. AMEN!
