- February 8th -- "Together We Stand, Divided We Fall"
- Scripture: Acts 15:36
After some days Paul said to Barnabas, "let us return and visit the brethren in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are."
Observation:
Paul having completed his missionary journey wanted to retrace his steps and go back to see how the Christians were doing in the cities that he visited. He knew that by checking in with them and encouraging them and letting them know that they are not alone in their struggle against the enemy that they would have the strength and courage to hold up under attack.
Application:
Today's scripture says to me "Together we stand, Divided we fall" we need to encourage each other, fellowship, and read Gods word together. The enemy searches out the easy, weak, prey and devours it like a wolf. But, if we stand together it is much more difficult for the enemy to take us down.
Prayer:
Lord help me to always stay in touch and encourage my brothers and sisters and together we will stand. AMEN!
